Autumn session 2011

To the attention of young researchers willing to be engaged in innovation activity!

Applications for participation in the autumn session of the Federal program UMNIK are being received.

The primary aim of the program is to find young people who are longing for self-actualization through innovation activity and to stimulate mass involvement of young researchers in scientific, engineering, and innovation activity by supporting youth innovation projects.

The participants of the program are selected on the basis of the materials and reports submitted by the nominees in the following areas:

• biotechnology;

• information technologies;

• medicine and pharmacology;

• chemistry, novel materials, chemical technologies;

• mechanical engineering, electronics, instrument making.

Tentative financing of each project during two years is 400 000 roubles.

Students, post-graduates, and young researchers under 28 having at least one publication on the declared topic are invited to take part in the program.
